- Hi Folks,
-
- I just inherited an HP Scanjet IIc scsi scanner. Being the loyal and long-time
- Amiga user that I am (A3000/25Mhz/27meg/Picasso/1.5gig + A500 BBS) I'd love to
- use this monster on my Amy. Perusing the newsgroups I have found that ASDG made
- a plug-in for AdPro that would allow you to access the scanner (there is also
- 'scan center' on aminet, but it's in german). Unfortunately, ASDG has turned
- it's back on the Amiga, and I can't find the package. I went to Software Hut
- in Pennsylvania and they suggested that I appeal to 'Kindly BBS Users' who
- might be willing to /share/ the package with me.
-
- Now, I certainly don't condone piracy, and I'm not 100% sure that this is
- piracy since the company no longer supports/sells/makes available this product
- (okay, well, I'm pretty sure it is piracy but ... at least I made the effort
- to buy it)... so if you've got it and would like to sell it I'd want to buy it.
-
- On the other hand, if it should just happen to show up in my email box...
-
- Any other kind advice regarding getting this scanner to work
- with the amiga (with the exception of using Photoshop on Shapeshifter, which
- cost waaay too much for it to be worth while to me (how much is photoshop?
- hundreds of bucks?) would be greatly appreciated. And hey, if you happen to be apart of ASDG and I'm somehow wrong about your no longer making this
- product available please contact me too.
-
- thanks much
